Registration Now Open for the 4th Annual Chief Nick Finamore Memorial Sporting Clays Shoot

Mark your calendars and grab your team—registration is now open for the 4th Annual Chief Nick Finamore Memorial Sporting Clays Shoot, benefiting the DC Firefighters Burn Foundation's Children's Burn Camp.

Hosted by IAFF Local 1619, the event will take place on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Prince George's County Trap & Skeet Center in Glenn Dale, Maryland.

Last year's event brought together 115 shooters and raised $18,000 to support Children's Burn Camp, helping young burn survivors experience a week filled with friendship, confidence-building, adventure, and fun. Thanks to the generosity of participants, sponsors, and supporters, children who have experienced burn injuries are able to connect with peers who understand their journey while creating memories that last a lifetime.

This year's event promises another great day of sporting clays, camaraderie, and friendly competition—all while supporting an incredible cause.

Whether you're a seasoned shooter, trying sporting clays for the first time, or simply looking for a unique day out with friends and colleagues, the Chief Nick Finamore Memorial Sporting Clays Shoot offers a welcoming experience for participants of all skill levels.

Registration includes:

  • 50 sporting clays targets

  • Shotgun rental

  • Ammunition

  • Light breakfast

  • Lunch

Participants can register as individuals, join with friends, or sign up as a Firehouse Foursome. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses, organizations, and supporters who want to help make an even greater impact.

Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps support the DC Firefighters Burn Foundation's Children's Burn Camp and the life-changing experiences it provides for young burn survivors.

We hope you'll join us on July 31 as we honor Chief Nick Finamore's legacy, enjoy a great day on the course, and help send children to camp.
