EMERALD SOCIETY FISHING TOURNAMENT
Casting lines, catching memories, and making a difference.
Hosted by the Emerald Society Firefighters of Washington, D.C., the annual Fishing Tournament is a can’t-miss day on the Chesapeake for firefighters, friends, and fishing enthusiasts alike. Boats head out early for a day of competition, camaraderie, and community — all to benefit the D.C. Firefighters Burn Foundation.
Anglers compete in private and charter divisions, with prizes awarded for the top five-rockfish stringers and a Calcutta competition for the largest fish of any species. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or just out for the fun, it’s a great day to get on the water, support a great cause, and enjoy a post-tournament celebration with fellow firefighters and supporters.
Proceeds from the tournament help fund the Burn Foundation’s vital programs — supporting injured firefighters, burn survivors, and their families through recovery, rehabilitation, and beyond.
