A New PartnershiP, Rooted in Community
Some partnerships just make sense.
This year, we’re excited to share that the DC Firefighters Burn Foundation is partnering with Founding Farmers Catering & Events for our upcoming Night at the Navy Yard Gala—and beyond.
But this isn’t just about what’s on the plate (although… it’s going to be really good).
It’s about shared values.
More Than Just a Meal
When we started thinking about this year’s gala, we weren’t just looking for a caterer.
We were looking for a partner.
Someone who understood that this night is about more than a great evening out. It’s about bringing people together around a mission—supporting burn survivors, their families, and the firefighters who serve them.
From our very first conversations, the team at Founding Farmers got that.
They didn’t just ask about menus.
They asked about impact.
A Partnership That Goes Beyond the Gala
While guests at this year’s gala will experience their incredible food firsthand, this partnership is about more than one night.
Together, we’re exploring ways to collaborate throughout the year—supporting Foundation events, connecting with our community in new ways, and continuing to grow what we can do for the people we serve.
It’s the kind of partnership that helps us move forward—not just execute an event.
Kicking Things Off the Right Way
We recently had the chance to kick off this partnership with a special luncheon for the burn care team at Children’s National Hospital.
It was a simple moment—but an important one.
A chance to show appreciation for the people doing this work every day.
A chance to connect around the mission.
A chance to start something meaningful together.
Why It Matters
At the heart of everything we do is community.
And the truth is—we can’t do this work alone.
It takes partners who believe in it.
Who show up.
Who want to be part of something bigger than themselves.
We’re grateful to Founding Farmers Catering & Events for stepping into that role with us.
